Overall Ratings
We include edge support and motion isolation in our overall mattress score, and we present these results using a simple colour system: green (5.0 and above), yellow (3.0–4.9), and red (2.9 and below). Cooling features aren’t part of the final rating, but we still use the same colour scale to show how each mattress performs. Firmness and bounce are more a matter of personal preference, so we display those scores in grey and exclude them from the overall score.
Mattress Overview
Product Details: Logan & Cove Choice

The Logan & Cove Choice is a medium-firm hybrid mattress that works well for most sleep styles. It blends cooling foam with a sturdy coil support system, so it's a good choice if you tend to sleep hot. The cover uses CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibres to help manage heat and keep you comfortable.
Inside, the mattress features Elastex® foam for extra bounce and responsiveness, and zoned support coils designed to relieve pressure, especially around your hips and core. It also performs well in motion isolation, making it easier to stay asleep if your partner moves around at night. Plus, strong edge support means you'll feel secure even when sleeping near the edge of the bed.
At just $999 for a queen, the Logan & Cove Choice comes with a 365-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle, which includes a sheet set, pillow(s), mattress protector, and pillow protector(s). Mattress Construction
Both Logan & Cove Choice and Sealy Posturepedic Hollycourt are Canadian-made hybrid mattresses with 4 layers. While each mattress has pocket coils, a quilted cover, and cooling technology, their construction is still very different.
Logan & Cove Choice

- 1st Layer: 1" of breathable hollow fibre fill and cooling gel-infused foam to offer a cushioned, temperature-neutral surface.
- 2nd Layer: 1" of ecoLuxe® cooling gel foam designed to cushion pressure points, especially around your shoulders and hips, while helping to disperse excess heat.
- 3rd Layer: 1" of Elastex® foam for subtle bounce that makes it easier to change positions, along with consistent, full-body support.
- 4th Layer: 9" individually wrapped pocketed coils designed to cut down on motion transfer, provide precise support to different areas of your body, and encourage healthy alignment of your spine.
The mattress cover on the Logan & Cove Choice features a diamond-tufted quilting with CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibres. It's not machine-washable, but the fabric along the sleep surface is soft, breathable, and designed to pull heat away from the body.
Sealy Posturepedic Hollycourt

- 1st Layer: 1.25" of Sealy's convoluted GelBoost HD memory foam. This gel-infused foam offers a cooling effect and helps improve airflow in the mattress.
- 2nd Layer: 3" of SealySupport gel-HD foam arrives pre-compressed. This layer is CertiPUR-US® certified, but it's not clear if this certification applies to all layers. This foam offers additional cushioning and prevents you from feeling the springs in the next layer.
- 3rd Layer: 9" of individually pocketed SealyResponse™ coils offers support and responsiveness, reducing motion transfer.
- 4th Layer: 0.5" of unspecified fibre to add stability and prevent noise or scratches from the coil layer above.
The rest of the mattress height comes from 0.5" of fibre quilted into the Euro-top cover. The Sealy Posturepedic Hollycourt's cover isn't removable or machine washable, so it'll need to be spot-cleaned if it gets dirty.
In third-party engineer testing that we commissioned, both the Logan & Cove Choice and Sealy Posturepedic Hollycourt landed in the medium-firm range. This firmness level is often recommended for all sleep styles, whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach since it offers a balanced mix of comfort and support.
Both mattresses earned solid scores for edge support and motion isolation. These features matter if you share your bed, shift positions often, or need extra stability near the edges. Logan & Cove scored slightly higher in both areas.
Where Logan & Cove Differs:
- That can be helpful for light sleepers or anyone who prefers a mattress that doesn't react to every toss and turn. Logan & Cove scored 7.5/10 for motion isolation—higher than Sealy, which means it does a better job of absorbing movement. That can be helpful for light sleepers or couples who don't want to feel every toss or turn from the other side of the bed.
- Logan & Cove scored 5.0/10 for cooling features. Its moisture-wicking CoolSense® cover, breathable Elastex® foam, and ecoLight® cooling gel foam all work together to help regulate temperature through the night. If you like to sleep cool, you might want to opt for a mattress with more cooling features, like the Logan & Cove Choice.
Where Sealy Differs:
- Sealy offers a high bounce and earned a score of 6.9/10, which may be appealing if you prefer a responsive feel when changing positions or getting in and out of bed. Bounce is all about how quickly the mattress returns to its original shape after you sit or lie down on it. If a mattress has a lot of bounce, it's easier to switch positions. On the other hand, one with less bounce can help keep movements from disturbing your partner.
- Sealy earned 5.0/10 for cooling features. It earned points for its textured memory foam, gel-infused foam, breathable pocketed coils and moisture-wicking cover.

In 2012, Sealy merged with competitor Tempur-Pedic to form Tempur Sealy International, Inc. As of February 2025, the parent company now operates under the name Somnigroup International. It also owns the Stearns & Foster brand.

All the content on our site, from product reviews to comparisons, is intended to provide general information to help guide your mattress search. We work with independent third-party engineers to test all mattress products we purchase, and we use the test results alongside public data to inform our reviews and comparisons.
The product details in each review reflect how the mattress performed at the time we purchased and tested it, as shown by the "Published" date.
Since brands can update their materials, pricing, or availability over time, we also note when the product was originally purchased, either directly in the article or on our disclaimer page, to maintain clarity and transparency.
If you see an "Updated" tag on a page with a more recent date than the published date, it simply means we've made editorial changes. It does not necessarily indicate any update to the mattress or its test data.
Finally, unless otherwise stated, any mention of where a mattress is made refers specifically to the product we received and tested.
