The Lucid mattress has a polyester-rayon blend cover with a zipper along the edge. The top fabric has a smooth texture and a light sheen that's typical of rayon blends. Although the cover is zippered, it isn't meant to be removed or tossed in the washing machine. For spills or stains, spot-cleaning is the way to go.

No. Like most foam mattresses today, Lucid is designed with a one-sided construction. You can rotate it head-to-foot every few months to help it wear evenly, but it shouldn't be flipped.
The Lucid mattress we tested didn't list fiberglass on the law label. Even so, some customers have raised concerns about the Lucid mattresses having fiberglass. If your mattress law label lists "fiberglass," "glass fibers," or "silica fibers," don't remove the cover, as doing so could release those materials into your home.
