The Puffy Cloud is an all-foam mattress. Although Puffy is an American brand, mattresses ordered by Canadians will be made in Canada, just like the one we ordered for this review.
Puffy Cloud stands 10" tall and includes 3 layers of CertiPUR-US® certified foam.
Puffy Cloud's cover has a white top and grey diamond-pattern sidewalls. The logo is stitched at the foot of the bed. The cover is made of polyester, which isn't known to be a very breathable fabric. That said, the cover is designed to be hypoallergenic and moisture-resistant, and it can be removed for machine washing.
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Puffy Cloud scored 5.9/10 for firmness. That puts it in the medium-firm range, which lines up with Puffy's marketing. It should work with all sleep styles, whether you sleep on your back, side, or stomach. That said, it may feel slightly softer than other medium-firm options.
Want something firmer? Octave Vista scored 6.8/10 and includes zoned support for more tailored pressure relief across your body.
Edge support helps you feel stable whether you're sleeping near the edge or sitting up in bed. Puffy Cloud scored 7.0/10, which is very good for a foam mattress. You should notice only a bit of sink when sitting or lying near the edge.
