Product Overview
Puffy Cloud is a 10″ memory foam mattress with a medium-firm feel. It performs well in areas like edge support and motion isolation for an all-foam design, and its firm core foam layer promotes consistent support. Puffy’s cover is stain-resistant, hypoallergenic, removable, and machine washable. All foams used in its design are CertiPUR-US® certified.
That said, Puffy Cloud only includes one confirmed cooling feature: a layer of gel foam. Memory foam can be known to trap heat, so the gel-infused layer might not be enough on its own to keep hot sleepers cool throughout the night.
We’ve tested other foam mattresses that include more features at a lower price. Octave Vista, for example, includes more cooling features, like a cooling nanofibre cover, copper-infused memory foam, and phase-change material. It also uses a multi-zoned support system for pressure-point relief. At $899 for a queen, Vista costs less than Puffy Cloud while offering more features for comfort and temperature control, plus a longer 365-night sleep trial.

Puffy Mattress Construction
The Puffy Cloud is an all-foam mattress. Although Puffy is an American brand, mattresses ordered by Canadians will be made in Canada, just like the one we ordered for this review.
Mattress Layers
Puffy Cloud stands 10" tall and includes 3 layers of CertiPUR-US® certified foam.
- 1st Layer: 2″ of gel-infused foam that contours to your body and helps draws heat away your body.
- 2nd Layer: 2″ of Puffy's Climate Comfort foam that adds cushioning between the comfort and support layers. while Puffy says this layer improves airflow, they don't explain how.
- 3rd Layer: 6″ of dense support foam that gives the mattress its structure and helps prevent deep sinkage.
Mattress Cover
Puffy Cloud's cover has a white top and grey diamond-pattern sidewalls. The logo is stitched at the foot of the bed. The cover is made of polyester, which isn't known to be a very breathable fabric. That said, the cover is designed to be hypoallergenic and moisture-resistant, and it can be removed for machine washing.

Delivery & Other Policies
Puffy ships its mattresses for free throughout Canada using FedEx. The company advertises a delivery window of 1–2 business days. However, based on information from Puffy's live chat, actual delivery times may take up to 5 business days, depending on where you live. This means Puffy's total shipping timeline is 3–7 business days.
Your Puffy mattress purchase includes a 101-night sleep trial. If you're not satisfied, you can return the mattress for a full refund, but only after a 14-night adjustment period. This gives your body time to get used to the mattress before starting a return.
Puffy backs its mattresses with a lifetime warranty. It covers manufacturing defects, including sagging or body impressions deeper than 1.5″, as long as the mattress is used on a proper foundation. While Puffy says that the mattress is compatible with any surface, the warranty terms still require proper support for coverage to apply.

Should You Buy the Puffy Cloud mattress?
Puffy Cloud has very good motion isolation and edge support. But with limited cooling features, a standard-length sleep trial, and a relatively high price tag, we think that there are other foam mattress options that offer more for less in the market. You might consider Puffy Cloud if you want:
- A medium-firm mattress
- A machine-washable cover
- A lifetime warranty
If you're looking for a more affordable option with better temperature control, consider Octave Vista. It also has a machine-washable cover, but adds multiple cooling features, a 365-night sleep trial, and a free bedding bundle, which includes a sheet set, pillow(s), mattress protector, and pillow protector(s). It also incorporates zoned support to promote better spinal alignment, and is available at just $899 for a queen size.

All the content on our site, from product reviews to comparisons, is intended to provide general information to help guide your mattress search. We work with independent third-party engineers to test all mattress products we purchase, and we use the test results alongside public data to inform our reviews and comparisons.
The product details in each review reflect how the mattress performed at the time we purchased and tested it, as shown by the "Published" date.
Since brands can update their materials, pricing, or availability over time, we also note when the product was originally purchased, either directly in the article or on our disclaimer page, to maintain clarity and transparency.
If you see an "Updated" tag on a page with a more recent date than the published date, it simply means we've made editorial changes. It does not necessarily indicate any update to the mattress or its test data.
Finally, unless otherwise stated, any mention of where a mattress is made refers specifically to the product we received and tested.
