Product Overview
The STRUCTUBE LOFT 8 is an all-foam mattress with a medium-firm feel, using 4 layers balance comfort and support. It includes a charcoal-infused foam layer to help absorb odors, gel foam layers designed to assist with heat management, and a convoluted foam layer that promotes airflow. This combination makes the mattress suitable for a variety of sleepers, including couples and light sleepers.
It also offers good edge support and above-average motion isolation, meaning you can sit or sleep near the edge comfortably without feeling like you might roll off, and partner movements are less likely to disturb your rest.
While the STRUCTUBE LOFT 8 is priced on the lower end compared to many foam mattresses, it comes with a shorter-than-average 1-year warranty and no traditional sleep trial. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery and in the original packaging. Because this isn’t much time to test a mattress, you should be certain it meets your needs before buying.
If you’re looking for mattress options with more flexible policies, you might like the Juno mattress. Juno is a medium-firm foam mattress, too, designed to be simple and affordable, but it comes in at a budget-friendly price of just $629 for a queen. Plus, it has cooling features like a cooling yarn cover, which keeps surface temperatures low for a cooler touch, and cooling gel foam. You’ll also get a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle with your mattress purchase.

STRUCTUBE LOFT 8 Mattress Construction
STRUCTUBE LOFT 8 contains 4 layers of foam and measures 8" tall. All foam used in the mattress is CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning it's made without harmful chemicals.
Mattress Layers
- 1st Layer: 1" of cooling gel-infused memory foam designed to promote comfort and some level of cooling. This can help your body feel supported while reducing heat buildup during the night.
- 2nd Layer: 1″ charcoal-infused foam that acts as the support layer and helps manage odours, to help keep the mattress feeling fresh over time while adding gentle support for maintaining a more comfortable sleeping temperature by letting heat escape.
- 3rd Layer: 2″ convoluted foam that allows adequate air flow.
- 4th Layer: 4″ support foam that provides stability. This layer allows the mattress to maintain its structure and provide support.
Mattress Cover
The STRUCTUBE LOFT 8 mattress has a quilted all-fabric cover with a simple white top panel, grey sides, and an anti-skid base. The cover is designed to be breathable, anti-microbial, and anti-mite. It includes a zipper, but since STRUCTUBE doesn't mention if it's machine washable, spot-cleaning is the safest option.
Mattress Testing
To ensure our mattress reviews are thorough and trustworthy, we buy the products ourselves and have them tested by independent licensed engineers (commissioned by us) with no stake in the results.
These third-party engineers apply a consistent testing process to every mattress using a detailed framework. Every mattress is tested the same way, whether it's foam or hybrid. Because these types perform differently, we rate them on separate scales to ensure the scores are fair and meaningful.
We believe independent testing is essential to producing reliable and meaningful comparisons. That's why all test results are reviewed and signed off by an APEGA-certified engineer, operating under a strict code of ethics.
We use the testing results and over 40 criteria to build our scoring methodology.
Tests and reviews without this level of professional oversight may be more prone to errors and unintended bias.

Delivery & Other Policies
STRUCTUBE offers two delivery options: in-store pickup and doorstep delivery. In-store pickup can take up to 14 business days. Delivery to your home is free in most major cities on orders over $299, though fees apply if you're outside the free delivery zone. If you live outside Quebec or Ontario, delivery may take up to 14 business days. For $50 more, you can upgrade to "room of choice" delivery. STRUCTUBE doesn't currently offer mattress removal, so you'll need to arrange for disposal separately.
The LOFT 8 mattress arrives rolled in a red plastic-and-canvas bag. You have 7 days to return it, but only if it's unopened and still in its original packaging. Returns can be brought to a store, but refunds are processed separately, so you may need to wait to receive your money back. STRUCTUBE includes a 1-year warranty with this mattress. For reference, many mattress brands offer warranties closer to 10 years.
In comparison, Juno offers a 120-night trial and a 15-year warranty. If you decide to return the mattress during your sleep trial, Juno will arrange a free pickup and a full refund.

Customer Reviews & Feedback
Third-party review sites like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Trustpilot collect and publish customer feedback about companies and their products, and aren't controlled by the companies being reviewed. They offer a snapshot of overall customer satisfaction and highlight common issues shoppers might face. Checking ratings on sites like these can be a useful way for customers to make more informed purchasing decisions.
STRUCTUBE doesn't currently have a centralized profile with the Better Business Bureau, though some of its individual store locations do. Ratings on these store-specific pages vary. On Trustpilot, STRUCTUBE has a single company profile, where it currently holds a "Bad" rating, based on an average score of 1.3/5 stars.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are STRUCTUBE mattresses good?
The STRUCTUBE mattress earned decent scores in third-party testing (that we commissioned), but there are some important considerations before you buy. It doesn't include a sleep trial, and once it's opened or used, returns are not accepted. The warranty is just 1 year—far shorter than the industry average of 10 years—so you'll want to weigh that against other options.
If you're looking for more flexibility, consider Juno. 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and free returns if it's not the right fit. At just $499 for a queen, it's one of the most budget-friendly options we've tested.
Do STRUCTUBE mattresses come delivered in a box?
STRUCTUBE mattresses are not delivered in a box. Instead, they arrive rolled up inside a plastic and canvas bag. Once delivered, you'll need to remove the mattress from the bag, unroll it, and let it expand.
What is the return process for a STRUCTUBE mattress?
You can return a STRUCTUBE mattress within 7 days of purchase, provided it hasn't been removed from its original bag or used. If you bought it in a STRUCTUBE store, you can return it in person. For online purchases, returns must be arranged by calling their toll-free number. If pickup service is available in your area, STRUCTUBE will organize it, but a $69 fee applies.
What STRUCTUBE mattress alternatives should I consider?
You might want to check out Juno instead. It offers good edge support and above-average motion isolation. It also includes a gel-infused foam layer for cooling, and you can upgrade to a Cool+ cover for added temperature control.
Juno is available in more sizes (including RV options) and comes with a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle. At $499 for a queen-size, it's one of the most affordable mattresses we've reviewed.

All the content on our site, from product reviews to comparisons, is intended to provide general information to help guide your mattress search. We work with independent third-party engineers to test all mattress products we purchase, and we use the test results alongside public data to inform our reviews and comparisons.
The product details in each review reflect how the mattress performed at the time we purchased and tested it, as shown by the "Published" date.
Since brands can update their materials, pricing, or availability over time, we also note when the product was originally purchased, either directly in the article or on our disclaimer page, to maintain clarity and transparency.
If you see an "Updated" tag on a page with a more recent date than the published date, it simply means we've made editorial changes. It does not necessarily indicate any update to the mattress or its test data.
Finally, unless otherwise stated, any mention of where a mattress is made refers specifically to the product we received and tested.
