Casper Wave Hybrid Mattress Construction
The Casper Wave Hybrid stands 13" tall and features hybrid construction, using both foam and metal coils. It includes ventilated polyfoam, natural latex, zoned memory foam, and a pocketed coil base.
Designed to offer support and pressure relief, the Wave Hybrid is promoted to suit a range of sleeping positions, especially back and combination sleepers. All foam layers in the Casper Wave Hybrid are CertiPUR-US® certified.
Mattress Layers
The Casper Wave Hybrid mattress has 6 layers constructed of latex, springs, and foam. These layers work together for cooling, targeted support, and durability.
- 1st Layer: 1" of breathable polyurethane foam, coated with cooling gel for a refreshing sleep.
- 2nd Layer: 2" of natural/synthetic latex for added comfort and additional airflow.
- 3rd Layer: 2" of foam layer divided into three zones with different densities. This provides added support beneath your lower back and hips.
- 4th Layer: 1" of foam with gel pods strategically placed under your waist and lower back, creating zoned support to prevent sinkage and promote healthy spinal alignment.
- 5th Layer: 6" of individually pocketed coils that respond to your body for a boost of support and reduced motion transfer.
- 6th Layer: 1" of foam that provides extra support below the coil layer. This helps keep the coils from poking through the bottom of the mattress cover.
Mattress Cover
The Casper mattress cover is a cotton and polyester blend, made partly from recycled plastic bottles. The cover is not removable or machine-washable. In the case of a spill or stain, you should spot-clean the cover.

Casper offers free shipping to most Canadian locations and arrives between 5–15 business days, including processing time. However, Casper doesn't deliver mattresses to the Canadian territories. The company only delivers accessories to those regions, and will only ship to capital cities.

Casper was one of the first bed-in-a-box brands to gain widespread recognition in North America, launching in 2014. Since then, most of its competitors have joined the bed-in-a-box mattress industry with more specialized options, a lower price point, or a combination of the two.
